My nickname is Tia. Which it is funny how I got it.
My nephew could not say my name. So when we played and ran around the house, he would chase me yelling I get Tia! Tia! Tia! Tia!
Well, then my sister started calling me Tia because that is what her son called me. Tia also meaning Auntie, it fit, right?
But then my mother called me Tia because she got used to my sister calling me Tia. Then more family called me Tia and friends called me Tia.
So you can see the snowball effect.
I now go by Tia even 11 yrs later. And he still calls me Tia. :)
