Microsoft has released a rare warning for "zero-day" vulnerability in an ActiveX Control running on Windows XP or Server 2003 that is being exploited by hackers. The company doesn't have the patch ready to fix the issue yet. but because of vulnerability is being actively exploited, Microsoft is alerting customers and providing a workaround. To implement this workaround that disables the Microsoft Video ActiveX Control automatically on a computer running Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 click the link " http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972890" and click FIX THIS PROBLEM link under enable workaround. Note :- This is important in terms of security for all the users who are seeing online videos. I would suggest all of you to atleast go to the link and read more details about the same.

Microsoft will surely sort this out, currently they have not got time to packaged this workaround, thats why they have released it this way, sooner or later this fix will come in the patch itself. I hope whoever is using XP or 2003 OS should check this out and be safe before any issues.
