I am great at working hard to earn money, I am a good cook, a loving mother and i come with a full bag of tricks for my guy in the bedroom. But I suck at house work. I use to have money to pay somone to come in and do the things i don't do well. Now I don't. Is it something i can do to improve my house cleaning skills?

First off, are they jobs you just don't do well or they jobs you don't like? That will make a difference. If it is a job you don't do well, then use the internet to your benefit and hunt up info on a particular job that will help you do it better. If it is a case of jobs that you just don't like to do, then make sure you space out doing the jobs you don't like. For example, only do 1 don't like job per day or every other day.

Perhaps you could find a way to involve him in your housework chores. Say carrying something for you or something like that.

Well yes, and while I am bad at cleaning my own home, I work a part time cleaning houses, the trick is when you do not like to do it, concentrate on the main areas of the house, kitchen, living room, and the rest will follow sooner or later, Kitchen being the main.

I definitely do not like housework whatsoever! I do clean, but I hate it and I will put it off until I just have to suck it up and do the cleaning. When I get a house and I have a full time job and am able to make more money, I would love to hire a house keeper! That would be amazing. My mom has someone comes every 2 weeks to our house to do the deep cleaning.

If you have the time, go and check out flylady.net it's a great place to start! My house was spotless by following and taking babysteps there. I started working and didn't keep up with it and my house is back in the same shape it was before, but there are great ideas there. first thing you do there is to "shine your sink" when you get there, read first and you'll understand why shining your sink is the first step. The first thing you do every morning is make your bed....I was skeptical, but somehow it works and helps keep your bedroom clean and you just keep doing small steps to good habits. let me know how it works for you if you try it....

It is different because you are now a mother and you don't know how to clean or have a good skills in cleaning a house. I think you should make it a habit. It is important to make your house a clean one, a good place for your family and it must be safe and clean. Filthy house environment can bring disease to your child and to your whole family, that is no exception even to you.

Is it a matter of not knowing how to do it or not enjoying it? There are many of us out there that just DON'T enjoy housework! I know that when I'm busiest at my job I have absolutely no desire to clean whether it's after work or on the weekends. What I've had to do in the past is just designate a day and do it - no excuses. If I have the time I'll clean it all at once, if not - I'll clean one room a day and get my entire apartment done over a week. Gotta do what you gotta do!

of course you can. first thing is, you need to take responsibility of the house cleaning chore. if you are not willing (or not capable of ) paying other people to do it for you, then you have to accept that job. cleaning is not something we need to be good at, rather a task that needs commitment to be completed. even if you don't like doing it, do it anyway. sometimes it is all in the mind, so try to enjoy what you do. or think of the benefits you will get while doing it, ponder on the list i created below: 1. cleaning is a free exercise. you get to sweat out without spending a dime! 2. imagine all the merits of living in a clean surrounding - free from any form of disease and you will be doing Mother Earth a favor! 3. you will feel good about yourself - because you have overcome your weakness in the first place. 4. you will set a good example to your kid(s) - this one is way far but advantages takes a long long way, you know what i mean? 5. last is, your man will love you even more! let's face it, men love women who keeps the house clean. that's a good housekeeping skill to practice inside your home. good luck and happy cleaning!:)

i think turn on the tv or radio while you clean. it keeps you busy and keeps your mind of the tedious work of housework.
