The only time I ever played the lottery was one year when a little voice had been telling me to "pick 414 on your birthday". This went on for 8 months! So, on my birthday, which is 4/14, I played pick 3. I picked 414. You won't believe what number came up, so I'll tell you. No, it wasn't 414, it was 413! That hurt my feelings! Reflecting back, I SHOULD have been born on 4/13. My mother went into labor with me the morning of 4/13. Because I was breech, I wasn't born until the next day! I haven't played the lottery since. I've known people who have won money and they justify spending so much on tickets by saying they've won a little here and a little there, but they never added up exactly how much money they spent on those tickets before winning that money. My ex used to spend between $10 and $20 every week on lottery tickets. He won $5.00 or $25.00 every now and then but he spent HUNDREDS on those tickets! He actually lost money and only recouped a small amount of it each time he won. Nope, the odds of winning it big are too great for me. I have better things to spend my money on than just an extremely slim chance of winning a lot of money. But, if you have money to waste, it can be kinda fun, I guess. Just the anticipation of MAYBE winning. I haven't won anything big and I don't know anyone else who has, either.

Hahaha! That's funny. The ex I was talking about is a Sagittarius! December 10. If it weren't for bad luck, he'd have no luck at all, but that's his own fault.

Well, in Toronto Ontario Canada here...we have sooooo many to choose from. it's kind of hard to decide. They all have their good points. I like 649 plus the encore. I've have more success with this one, than any other. Any of the bigger lotteries, I stay away from....mostly because I can't even begin to afford them in the first place! cdrxo

Back in the eighties, I won about $500, which I didn't appreciate at the time because it was only about a week's pay for me (I was making big bucks). Now, it's more than I get a month, so I don't bother buying lottery tickets anymore. But I llike the Bingo or Crosswords scratch tickets, because at least I get to play a game.

I have hardly won a thing..lol..I am not very lucky. I have really just won another ticket or a few dollars. I always hear about this one or that one winning but it's never me. My daughter's teacher's son won the lottery here last year. He bought the whole classroom McDonalds. It was in the paper that he give the cashier that issued him the numbers $5000! He made a joke while buying the ticket and lived up to it. Congrats on winning!
