You are allowed to write crap!

I know, I am the same way. I have to sit down at my laptop and I have to write something brilliant. Something that will make people think, cry, or laugh at. Something that will stick with people and become a social icon.... Pffft. Not gonna happen. Well, you may be lucky, or I might. It remains to be seen. However, you are allowed to write crap. You can just sit down and write crap. It's fine. Just as long as you go back and edit it afterwards. but give yourself permission to just write whatever flies into your head. Later, when the work is done, go back and re-write that crap into a toilet seat or something. It's perfectly fine.
