Really, he was the King of POP... Never if anyone thought about it would a person answer that when this event happened( the dying week afters moments, of him) that his memorial would be the largest watched broadcast in history. According to CNN today, an estimate from Neilson is being calculated.. The Presidential inuagaration is possibly gotten more attention for barrack Obama... What a great show it was. So many entertainers filling the stage and saying their own words on the man's life. I liked the sheer dedicational attitude of the stars, personally. even if one or all of them was going to cry, even Al Sharpton, they stood up and kept on speaking for all the cameras to shed the light images instantly around the world.. The queen was one of my favorites. Mya Angelou was where, I wondered. She recently had an ad placed into Poets and Writers webazine...but she's not there on stage? I sat still watching the whole thing from my tiny cell phone on Flow TV. It had more stations than any other program I have watched of news interests in my entire life. AIG gave away the right to charge money, so this contribution was a cancelation of that 4 million debt costing LA county the tote. Why can't city governments just host the world's largest funeral for free? Not even Pres. Regan's recession had so many lookerson.. I guess his family had some conventional wisdom to have the casket wheeled out and not carried, as the grave is so many miles away... Even if no-one ever thought how we would ever say good-bye to him, I personally thought he could have lived another 50 years... His whole career had prepared us for this... Why do you think Thriller was so popular? I guess his real beginning is his real end, in a grotesic way... It was nice to see his family was well thought of and came up to speak last... What did you think of the event? Did you watch it? What touched you most? who was the celeb you connected with most?....

I watched on TV as it was happening. It was a beautiful Memorial. Maya Angelou was probably not there because she is up there in age. I connected mostly with three people. One being Brooke Shields - I thought she put light on the "real Michael" the kid at heart. Then Jermaine singing "Smile" that really got to me. The most touching moment was when Michael's daughter Paris spoke. I cried on and off thru out the Memorial. I still can't believe that this has happened and that he is gone.

Yes, I watched it online the second day. I was so moved. when I saw the cars travel around the city and Jackson's music sounded as background music. I nearly can't help crying. I saw many people went to mourn for him. Jackson is great person. Once I realized that I can't see his performance, I feel very upset. And I was so moved when Marie Carry singed I WILL BE THERE. I feel to cry twice. No doubt Michael Jackson is the king.
