When I heard Cristiano Ronaldo was leaving Man U i was shocked. Tevez is going too & Ferguson is buying players like Owen who is slightly out of form. Who thinks Man U can keep up their winning streak.

C. Ronaldo has been an important piece in the Man Utd team. That does not mean he was the only one playing at the highest level - look at the national team of Portugal... He also plays for them and they are not doing very well... Tevez was not a first team player. He did score some important goals and played well, but his absence is not critical. I am looking forward to see Valencia play. He seems a pretty good player from what I have read. As for Owen... I was under the impression he was free of contract and United did not buy him - he just signed a contract. Am I wrong? As for winning the title again, Manchester United will be fighting for it just like any other season. It will not be easy - there are other very good teams also battling for the Premiership. All I hope for is a great season, with much entertainment, from which the best team (hopefully MU ) will prevail.

Why not? I know its going to be pretty difficult having lost the best player in the world(Ronaldo) and also one of the most hardworking player in the world(Tevez), but it can be achieved. We've got in instant replacements in Valencia and Owen. Obviously, there is a difference in class between CR7 and valencia, I guess Owen can match up to Tevez's performance. Accepted, Owen is no longer the one who wore a Liverpool jersey but he's still talented. I don't think he's out of form. Its just that he spent a lot of time last season out of the pitch in the physio room. He managed to score about 10 goals last season for a poor side like Newcastle. He'll surely get better chances to score at Manchester United. These are just predictions. Lets wait for the season to begin and see the drama unfold. I though believe, Chelsea will be a bigger threat than Liverpool this season. Also, I'd anyday prefer seeing Chelsea winning over Liverpool. Period.

Was Ronaldo and Tevez the only reason why Man Utd now have 18 Premier League titles and record FA Cup titles? There's always a replacement for all players. So yes nothing will change, Man Utd might not be as strong as last season because we'll need to give the new players time to adapt and improve. When Man Utd first bought Ronaldo for less than 20 million, nobody thought he'd smash the previous world records set by Zidane and Kaka. Man Utd's greatest strength is its team work, from the board of directors to the coaching staff to the players... everybody plays a part in winning games. There's no such thing as a one man football club.
