I found all my research in WIKIPEDIA

I have tons of assignments and I am very lazy to go to school library and borrow books and bring them home. That will be very heavy to have 10 books. And later on, you will find out that what you are researching is not inside those books. So I stick to find all my homeworks online. I use yahoo and google search engines to find the best results. Both bring me to wikipedia.com with a very good presentation of all my assignments. It was really helpful for me since, almost all information related to my assignment is there. Plus they have links that will direct you to related topics. Instead of spending much time searching on books, I found all my assignments to this website. Another thing that I really like about doing assignments online is that, I can edit the text in Microsoft Word, then make good presentation, and my tasks done. I do not have to write all in scratch paper what I will get in books, then tranfer or input them into computer and print them. Thank you very much Wikipedia, I can post as many discussions today because I finished all my assignments on time. I only have one more assignment to finish, that is quiet easy and a group work. So I cannot do it alone by now. I was not here in Mylot yesterday because of hectic schedule plus I got sick. And now that I am back, I wish to earn extra income today. Have a nice day. Happy Mylotting. Best regards, Jeff

You do have to be careful using Wikipedia because a lot of the information is not necessarily accurate, which isn't surprising as anyone can write on there. I think it is handy to find out about things and get references to genuine sources though. Also, as the previous commenter pointed out, other people might be copying exactly the same thing as you are, so teachers can spot where it came from.

Thank you very much. As what I have mentioned earlier, There is no perfect website that can show you the best information you need. Most of which are inaccurate and does not provide real information sometimes. But being careful and making more researches and comparison will solve the problem plus of course, consulting your book plus your professor will definitely be perfect. Thank you. I feel very sleepy now. I must say, I must sleep, since I finished my homework. Enough for discussions here now. I am a bit tired. I will be back tomorrow. Have a nice time Keep posting, Jeff

wikipedia is good and yes it does come up first on the results and it is laid out very well with the contents, however you have to remember that wikipedia content can be edited and incorrect information can be put on their , also i have noticed sometime the info is copied from other websites exactly. At uni the lecturers banned us from referencing wikipeida one because it wasn't always accurate but two because most of the people were handing in similar pieces of work

Thank you very much for giving me that information. Yes, I know that wikipedia provides incorrect and inaccurate information. As some people say, there is no perfect website to look at in terms of dealing with your assignments. My professor always tell me that it is best to consult what is in the book. But since I talked about which one is perpect, the book also provide information which are inaccurate. But the best thing is to use these website as a form of reference to assignments especially when you are in a rush and you cannot do things all at the same time. I still love wikipedia. I just have to be careful of course and also, I must checked other websites which provides the same information and see the difference. Thank you very much for giving comments. I appreciate it. have a nice day Jeff

There a re tutors here who do not accept any research citing wikipedia as a source. Wikipedia is considered a juniour friendly source of information by these tutors as far as I understand. They also refuse it because the information tends to be incorrect at times and it shows that the student was being lazy at getting their assignment done. Seems it works for you though.

When doing my assignments I sometimes used Wikipedia and use it frequently to learn about something I don;t know. However with assignments you have to be careful as the information is not always exact. As others said, it can be edited and you don't know if the person who did so has a good knowledge of the subject or is well informed. I also hope you just don't copy and paste the information. You need to change it in you own words otherwise if check for plagiarism you will be caught. Good luck with your results.

I like wikipedia and i use it to fine other sources. They usually come with references and with those, I go look into it at the library. I also read the article to get the gist of what im researching ^^
