Hey friends, has anyone every tried to sabotage your dieting efforts. For example they know that you are trying to loose weight. So they will ask you to go out to places where they know the food is fattening and they will bring you burgers and milkshakes in an effort to try to keep you fat? This is what old boy over here has been doing and I already done told him that I"m not going to be a member of the fat girl's club. I got nothing against fat people but I just don't want to be one. What kind of sabotages have you experienced?

Hi citychic! I'm not being negative but where ever we are, there will always be people who play the role of an antagonist in our life. They seem to be around the corner, watching our every move and waiting for us to commit a mistake and ultimately fail. Stay away from this kind of people. They will not only sabotage your success in keeping your slim figure but will keep you down, emotionally. I've been fat most of my life and finally decided to slim down for good. While there are people (like the one you know) you go out of their way just to sabotage and intentionally make you fail, I'm surrounded with friends, relatives, workmates, etc who tease me a looooooot. I hear commenting since the day I started my weight loss journey. or at least when they started to see a difference in my body. they don't influence my decisions in any way but what they do somehow invades my privacy. here is what you need to do: just ignore that person. if it's inevitable, be firm with your new standards. don't let anyone sabotage your goals! good luck! happy mylotting! :)

Do they sabotage your diet? Hello Narcyszaprospera, Thank you very much for your message. Even right now this person is trying to practically push food down my throat. I could almost guarantee you that if I really needed a burger or some food they wouldn't give it to be. I've told them that I would like to have a nice pair of shoes, do you think they gave me a pair or the money that I need to buy them? The answer is no. Thank you for sharing your story with me because it's very helpful to know that somebody else has dealt with a similar situation and has lived to overcome the problem. Right now I think more than anything else I'm in need of true friends. People that will not stab us in the back. I think that I've found that at mylot. Here at least we can be supportive or each other and it mean the world to know that somewhere in the world, we all have somebody out there that genuinely care for us. Please add me to your friendlist Narcy and know that I"m here for you if you ever need a true friend. I will take comfort in knowing that you are there for me as well. BTW you look so nice on your pic that one would never dream that you once had a weighty problem. I hope to be there some day too and I will be sure to take your advice and stick to my goals. God bless you dear friend.....please stay in touch!

hi its me again. I've read through all the comments. and EXERCISE was mentioned, including HUGE HIPS. now we are really on the same page my dear. i just want to give a bird's eye view of my weight loss journey: I started losing weight last March of this year. And as I've said, I lost 18lbs already. What I did was to modify my diet, a lot of it and enrolled in a gym. Please let me know if you want further details of my weight loss plans. You know I maybe drifting away from the topic. Don't wanna be deleted. lol. Be happy!

That would be my mother-in-law pushing seconds, pudding, cake, etc. at me when she knows I'm on a diet.

Do they sabotage ur diet? Hi Dawnald, thanks for your response....... So I would have to make fewer visits over to visit Mom in law if she was doing that to me. I guess it's their generation that believed it was more of a healthier thing to have large hips and such but scripture says that my people perish from a lack of knowledge. At that time people were not realizing that being overweight can bring about lots of other health issues. So you go on girl and do what you feel like you have to do. Not to be disrespectful to your mom in law but some folks just don't know how to be sociable. maybe you need to turn her on to mylo Peace out.............

Sabotage ur diet......... Yes you are right snowy, even during hard times, if we go out to a restaurant to eat, they cook will put an extra portion of food on my plate or so it seems. I wind up eating some of it then most of it I will bring home in a doggie bag. I have good strategies set in place but personally I know that I need to get more active. That will do the trick, just start making more time for me will be the order of the day, God bless you and thanks for responding.Have a great weekend!

I have had this happen to me. My ex mother in law would bring me the extra large frappatino's from starbucks every day and would take us out to eat at least 4 times a week. I gained 50 pounds before I knew it. I learned you have to not care about what others feel and just say no!!
