are you shy or nervous when you are required to have a speech in public?

i am very nervous and i am not very confident when i required to have a speech in public,i know practice makes perfect,may be i rarely have a chance to speak in public and i didn't have so much time to repare usually,so i often spoil my speech and regreted after speaking,i admired someone very much who have self-confident to speak in front of many people,so are you a person like me or you have some chance to have speech in public with self confident?

I agree practice makes any task perfect. When it comes to public speaking its very important for a person to be well prepared with the knowledge on what you are supposed to be speaking. If one knows that then speaking infront of a single or thousands is the same. while having a public speech one should keep in mind that the information you are about to share, is known to you in more detailed version then any other person present over there infront of you. That can boost your confidence and allow you to speak eliminating your fear.Another way to make your speech perfect is practising in front of the mirror so you know exactly what are the expressions you will give when you are doing the speech.

yes,it is very important to be well prepared,but i would out of my senses when i was inquired suddenly to speak something.

Most of the time prompt speeches are needed in a group where the topic might be an ongoing topic , prediscussed or a hot topic on which everyone will have some knowledge .. in such cases you should make your speech short. As longer the speech more number of questions will be targeted back for which you should have answers.

I am shy and nervous when i must speak to face the public.I less practice to present to face many people.It is hard to do.
