Hi My fellow Mylotters, This may sound really stupid after being here for quite some time. The number that comes beside your username in braces (), your popularity rating?? How do you actually improve it?? As i see it when i do some 10 posts and give out some 10 comments i see that, that the number in braces beside my username increases by a mere point! I have seen people in my lot having that number in 20 k's. SO do share with us all how you have reached such a huge number when it is really difficult for me to increase it by a mere point. Were you people with 10 k - 20 k, my lot popularity rating, members of my lot by birth? Juz kidding! Also does the star which comes in front of your username, another kind of popularity rating? Do these number in braces and the star increase your earnings?? What is their exact significance on my lot. Do let all your fellow my lotters know about it! Cheers and happy my lotting.

hello gamesurfer! those numbers represents your activities here, so the more active you are the larger number you get. the stars represents your mylot reputation and you will need rating of atleast 100 before you will be able to have a reputation...and this reputation depends on the ratings you get from other members and the quality of your posts... to understand it most i suggest you to read the FAQ and you will find all info you need...or follow this link: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq11.aspx http://www.mylot.com/o/faq.aspx have a nice day and welcome to mylot! i hope you enjoy your stay here!

well what i mean with 100 is the number inside the ( ) and not the positive ratings from other members...but i think that determines your star which i don't really think if it affects the earnings...but i think it is, coz when i get my star i notice that i earn better...than before. but again i am not really sure about this and how mylot compute our earnings... what i am sure about is that we earn for every activities we made here, posting, commenting, responding, uploading photos... and remember when you start a discussion try to comment back to your respondents, it will help. and when responding or commenting try to post quality posts (meaning relevant to the topic and as much as possible consists of atleast 4 lines...) and avoid doing any violations that may lead to deletion of your posts and will deduct your earnings... again, read and understand the FAQ, Terms and guidelines... go go go...gamesurfer! happy posting!

The number corresponds to the number of posts you make, I have never been to sure about the star, I know if you are rated negatively on anything it brings your star rating down. No matter how long I am here I learn new things about this site all the time.

The number is just how many posts you've made - either your own discussions or other peoples. I don't think it goes up for comments to replies, though. My Lot doesn't have a popularity stakes, as such, although if you get a best response it adds to your earnings.

as i know the number that is next to your username doesn mean your popularity. It shows how the system meature your reply of other members questions. if you want to be a popular one in this website I think you need to do a lot of works here then members will recognise you.
