I'm trying to decide which book to read. I think I have settled on Stephen King's "Needful Things". I read "Pet Semetery" and thought it was great. There's a bunch of other books in my possession that's only collecting dust right now, so I figured I'd read one of them. What are you reading?

Oooh, Stephen King. I've had a hankering to read The Shining again, but I can only seem to read it at night. I like having it scare the heck out of me. =) Right now, I am working through Jane Austen's Persuasion. Read Northanger Abbey beforehand. These were the only two Austen books I had never read, and I think I like them the best, though perhaps I should re-read the others, ha ha. Next up, I plan on reading some Joyce Carol Oates (love her), then perhaps some poetry from my English 362 required reading list. We don't have to do anything for class until fall, but the professor sent all the students the reading list in advance. English majors aren't exactly early birds, but I'd like to get a head-start.

I began reading The Shining once but never got through it. I'm not sure why, it is an interesting book. I have a lot of respect for English majors. I started to major in English but I like writing too much to make it my field of study. Anyway, happy myLotting!

Barnes and Noble is having their summer clearance right now so I bought like 4 or 5 books for $2/book. When they have their clearance I buy authors don't I don't know, so honestly I don't remember the titles right this moment. But I want to read pillars of the earth and world without end first.

I love Barnes and Noble but I haven't had much money lately to buy anything. Anyway, happy reading!

My summer reading is going pretty good. i have finished 4 books so far and havve 2 or 3 more on my list, or rather on my bedside table. I am always reading when I get the chance. Lately when I am off I lay our by the pool and read a good book or go to a park or something to lay on the grass and read. Right now I am reading Kiss Of The Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon.

I love to read whatever I get my hands on, but I love autobiographies, mysteries, and inspirational.
