Sunil Gavaskar is a respected and prominent personality in cricket. He was famous for his splendid concentration.
He was chosen way back in 2000 as "The Sports person of the Century" by the sports magazine "The Sportstar"
He told in that interview that, "A loss should give a lot of pain to a player and that will make him play better in next games" and he also replied to the question 'would you like to be a performer or a winner', as "I would like to choose to be a winner than a fantastic performer. What is the use of performing if you are not winning?"
And Gavaskar believes 'Concentration' is the one thing which is number one requirement to be successful.
On his birthday, the 60th one, let us wish him more success and happiness!

Yeah, I also believe that this genius has been one those in Indian cricket who have not only served but led the Indian cricket forward.
His contributions are innumerable. I really admire him. One great contribution has been to bring the diamond to the world cricket, Sachin, to the forefront, without whom, nobody knows, what would have been the state of the Indian cricket.
I also give him my best wishes on his 60th birthday.
