On the right track - but how do you get money to move forward

well, I know I'm on the right track as far as getting my business going, but it is so hard when you don't have the money to move it forward to the stage, though it could take about 5 years realistically to get it paying for itself. With cuts in wages, higher taxes, etc, we are behind on a lot of things, and although we are starting to get a trickle from the goat rides here and there - it is only once a week and weather dependent. www.caprinescene.tk Forget about enterprise grants, etc. They won't help. Especially the little people. Guess what I want to do is kind of a social entreprener. B

We own a small business, and it is certainly not easy when you are on a limited income. We have been in business for 5 years and are just starting to turn a good profit, and all the profits go right back into the business. The best advice I can give you for the early stages of your business is don't give up, don't go into debt, and think outside of the box. Try to think of creative ways to bring in more revenue. Can you do the goat rides more than once a week? Can you market soaps online? Perhaps some type of promotional event with door prizes (your products)? Good luck to you, its hard, but you can do it if you stick with it.
