Hello friends, I am curious if anybody out there in the land of mylot has ever wished for the perfect body? I'm not sure that the perfect body exist but the world sure does a pretty good job of trying to make us believe that it does. Well saw Beyonce in this long white flowing thing and she was twisting and gyratting her hips from side to side. so it makes me wonder about things like that at times. I guess i have mixed emotions about it. Is she sending out the wrong kind of messages as far as trying to make younger girls think that is the look they are supposed to aspire to? Or is she simply trying to be the best that she can be. So what do you think about the direction that Hollywood is moving in, as far as giving the skinniest girls all of the good jobs?

Perfect may be a little over rated but I would love to have the bod from 17 back!...lol but after kids I don't even think my bones have the shape they did then...sigh...I'll just keep dieting and working out and get back to as close as I can I guess.

I have seen that video with Beyonce.. And I had the same thought... Personally I do not really care watch size I am... Do not really want to get over weight but if it happens well I guess that is just part of life... The perfect body; that is a good question.. each person has their own opinion of that... Really skinny, or muscular, or well rounded figure.. each person for their own... Personally I do not care.. It is what is one the inside that really matters... The only thing that I wish I had, was a back that didn't hurt, and that was complete.. but each person has something that they would like to change about their bodies.. That is normal, it is when people do drastic measure to achieve their wishes.. eating very little or nothing just to lose a couple pounds.. when in reality they are just going to make their bodies more unhealthy in the end.. I believe the media has a lot to do with this, we can not completely blame them thou... Society as a whole as a specific body shape that is "in".. heck even what everyone should wear, act and many other things.. Whats wrong with being unique or different.. that is something I would rather promote!!

I never compare my self to actresses or entertainers. Their whole job is to be able to sell themselves. I only aspire to make my self happy and to be comfortable in my own skin. I don't really care what anyone else thinks. I just want to be healthy and have energy and live my life to the fullest. I also enjoy eating, so I have to balance that out with exercise.

Hi Citychic, my definition of a perfect body is perfect health, not perfect figure or shape. Perfect health is more important, can save money and live longer, can enjoy life more. No point having a perfect shape, but rotten inside. Many celebrities do not really have good health, either physically or mentally. I do not enjoy them having a charming looks, but suffering inside. Much prefer to have perfect health, so that i can go hiking, travelling whenever I want, and not fearful of any virus or bacteria attack.

I have always wished for that perfect body. Definition varies from people to people. According to me Megan Fox has the most perfect body and I long to be like her!

I always felt a little twinge of envy, when looking from the outside in, to another person's life. Maybe that person is strikingly beautiful or has a fantastically fit body or has a life that is rich with fame and monetary wealth. I think we have all exprienced this at one time or another. It's human nature. It's flawed view, which society imposed on us. Our envoius, idealistic perception of others usually leads to sadness for ourselves. We might become depressed, and not even aware that it's a result of feeling not as valueable or successful as others. We might become enraged with jealousy, because we want so desperately to be someone other than who we are. Trying to be someone other than who we are, is one of the biggest mistakes people make. The misconception that others are better than we are is such an illusion. Sometimes the influence of society causes us to feed our minds with fictitious perceptions, placing others on a pedestral, while neglecting to recognize our own self worth. As we reflect back on celebrities of the past, those whom we would look at and dreamed our life were like theirs, or wish looked like them, we have to understand the value of appreciating exactly who we are and being grateful for all the aspects of our life, exactly as it's been and as it is. Trying to imitate a celebrity did not help and it never will. I can be ONLY ME, you can be ONLY YOU and we are each unique in our own special way.

When I was younger I have wished to have the perfect body for myself. I used to be a skinny girl when I was younger. I am a fully grown woman and have gained a little weight but its proportionate to my weight. Everybody is saying that my body curves and my boobs are my sexiest features. I don't like any surgeries for my body. I think my butt is too large but my bf and other guys says its cute. I would like to tell you a story of mine that has happened yesterday. A guy from Texas wanted me to work as a nanny for his son. We correspond through emails then we were chatting last night the moment he saw me on webcam, he has said that he is totally attracted to me. He didn't hire me as a nanny anymore for his son as he said that he might fall in love with me which is uncomfortable for both parties. The guy is a single father and in late 30s while I am in my early 30s. Its funny but true, even my bf couldn't believe it and my bf advised me to get a female employer instead.

Perfect to one person may be imperfect to another... What good would having the "perfect" body do for you? If it's for attracting a mate, then that's the wrong way to go about it as they will be attracted to the unreal you... For some people, the way they look affects how much money they make... Looks are superficial... What's important is the person within... Keep it real, in the "real" world...

I believe that every woman dreams of having the perfect body at some pointing time in her life or the other. I cant say much for the men but I would believe its the same for them. Maturity and experience usually helps us to accept who we are and how we are made. As for Beyonce, I believe what she does comes with her territory.

The truth is only a few lucky guys in the world have the perfect body. Normally, most people won't have the chance to have it, when they are born. I never wish anything that would never come true.

i'm a skinny girl and i always wanted to have hips and butt lol because that was all i would see in the music videos and during school most of the guys would pay most attention to the girls with the boobs, hips, and butt. i was so sick of all the skinny jokes i had a really big appetite but i couldnt keep the weight on. I even went to GNC and bought this weight gain shake because i was desperate to gain the extra weight. that $30 cointaner is still in my cabinet. So while I was pregnant and after I had my son, I got the hips and butt :)

Hi...I would say I always wished to have a perfect body but I also beleive that everyone of us are the best creation of God. He the creator have created us with some kind of beauty in ourself that may be realized by some and some may not realize it. I would say its good to bring out our inner beauty instead of looking at someone elses beauty and trying to be like them. We should be happy with what we have and you would not know there may be some people that may not have what you have but rest assured they will have something which may seem to be beauty to another persons eyes. I would say Beauty lies in the eyes that see. We decide whats beautyfull and whats not. Looking it in a positive perception is the best

Hollywood has been like that for a long time...and have you ever taken a close look at Barbie?! She's such a great example of what a woman should look like. LOL! I learned a long time ago that there is no such thing as a perfect body...on a woman or a man...and even the most beautiful women in Hollywood will tell you about their imperfections that don't show when they're on television or in a movie. True beauty comes from the inside. This is what I told my daughters when they were growing up and all three of them are beautiful, inside and out. They're not perfect...but they don't expect to be so they're happy. The next time you see Beyonce think about all the hours she has to put in at the gym and all the food she can't eat in order to maintain that body.

I adore pretty women and handsome men. But, as I really know the person deeper and I know their real colors. My first impression is what my eyes see but it change and now I am after the attitudes. I think I could not live with a pretty person whose behavior is bad. I may better live with a fair face and with a good personality. I desire to have a good body and dream about it. I may not be tall, but I have fair skin, and a petite. I inherit those qualities from my parents and even I want to have a body like a Hollywood star. It is impossible and i am happy with what i have now. I love every inches of my body! Of course, Beyonce is Beyonce and as a popular artist she need to care for her body as it is her capital to be more popular and salable. Without those qualities she may fails in the music industry.

i thought everyone does sooner or later. i love my body i like having boobs and a butt. but some times i just feel fat my sister calls me chubby and so does my brother. and other people think i should lose a little weight no more than 5 pounds i agree. i just wish if i lose weight my perfect body will exist. without surgery. big boobs abs' and long skinny legs. not chicken legs but just right. and i think the prefect body exist. i see them all the time but they have had surgery and thats not my thing. i think hollowood is wrong i think they should open parts up regardless of weight. but its always going to be that way because my drama teacher says that some roles call for black or white. or skinny or fat.
