what chore do you put off the longest?

We all have chores that need doing at one time or another. And we have all left the dishes in the sink over night, or laundry unfolded in a basket. Some may have left the lawn un mowed a few more days...which chore have you put off?

Procrastination can be one of my vices. :( Indeed, there are somethings I need to get done before end of day at work to day. Things which I have been letting slide as they are not of immediate concern.

I have put off dusting and mopping more times then dishes and laundry chores. I have put off spring cleaning at times for longer then I should..lol But I am probably not the only one who puts that off as long as possible.

I can find almost any excuse to avoid vacuuming! Don't want to disturb sleeping cats. DH is watching TV. I should clean from the top down... somehow I don't always make it all the way down to the carpet! LOL! I have gotten a bit better since I bought myself a Dyson! :)

I put off vacuuming because I have a Kirby vacuum that is bulking and hard to deal with. It doesn't always work correctly. I really can't stand my Kirby vacuum so this is the one chore I put off till it really needs to be done.

Excellent question. It's a tie between loading/unloading the dishwasher and doing laundry. I dislike doing either of those but they will not get done unless I do them. Sooner or later we run out of clean plates or towels, so I end up doing a bunch at once. Deep down, I'm hoping that my husband will jump in and do some of it, but he just fills the hamper and dumps all the dirty dishes by the sink. Oh well! At least I don't have to deal with the trash! That's his domain!
