I'm very excited! Today my boyfriend asked me to move in with him! I'm not going to move in with him immediately, but in a few months his current lease will be up and we plan on getting a place together! His current apartment is very small, so we'd need a bigger place for the two of us. This is quite a big step for us, and it makes me very happy! Do you live with your significant other? How do you feel about moving in with your boyfriend or girlfriend?

Well good luck in your domestic partnership lol ... anyway living together isn't easy especially after you see all his bad habits and true face.

Thanks for the advice! I've been staying over at his place regularly for the past 3 years, so hopefully living together shouldn't be too much of a shock!

Good for you, hope everythings will be fine for your moving in with your bf. I and my hubby before we get married we bought our own place. And i like it coz we have our own privacy and we have place which we called Home just for us. I am happy living with him. Cheers.

Of course, we will choose the best for both of us. Move to a better place, why not? This is the hope for all people. During my life has been occupied for more than 10 houses. Among them is not better than before. Now we take the best home.

Wow congratulations! I can relate to what are you feeling. I find this really cool since you're gonna be living together. Just make sure to not rush things as both will take time to adjust.

uhm, honestly... if you're gonna share an apartment or house with him, and have to sign some sort of contract with him (usually they let you sign the one year contract), I guess you have to think about it a couple of times before you jump in and move with him. You can never tell, if things don't go well weeks or months after you start living together, it won't be that easy to get out. And if you buy furnitures and stuff for the house, it would be hard to split them if you decide to split. Unless you like to write them all in small pieces of paper, roll them and stick them in a bowl and take turns reaching inside the bowl... but anyway...what i'm tryng to say is... think about it first. Weight the benefits against the odds. =)

Thanks for the advice! For the past three years we've been staying over at each others' places for long periods of time. So I don't think living together full time will be too different. And we would be renting a place, so it's not like we'd be buying a house together! As for furnishing the place, we probably wouldn't buy anything new together. We'd each use whatever furniture we already have. But if we did find something new we'd need, one of us would buy it and then it would be either his or mine in case one of us ever moved out!
