even though she didnt tell a long speech, her simple words were very heartfelt and made me shed some tears. no little girl should ever lose their father and hear ridiculous things such as custody battles from an estranged person that they barely know + just because she is the biological mother doesnt mean she can just jump in and claim the mother role. she gave them up so keep it that way. what the greed of money will make you do...

yes, me too, my tears fell towards that end when she made her speech and I still get teary eyed when I see it flashed on the news. Yes, it's sad how money can manipulate the thoughts of the greedy. I completely agree with you, she maybe their biological mother but she has never been a mother to them. She gave them up a long time ago, and she even waived her rights to them, too bad that the courts decided to give them back to her. I just hope that the courts realize that the children belongs with the Jacksons, and not with their so called 'mother' and that pulling them from the loving embrace of the Jackson family will be harmful to them.

She was very brave to go up in front of all those people and say what she did. being kept from the public view like she was her whole life. My heart goes out to those children they have a hard time to get over something like losing the only parent that they knew.

I watched the memorial service from start to finish and Paris Jackson's speech was the most heartfelt of all. People can say that it was scripted and all but I cannot believe it as such. Yes, you can see her bravery as she stepped up into that mic and opened her mouth, as she is not accustomed to doing such. And you can she as she struggled with the words, I can believe that there were still some words she wanted to say, but that is what came out as she is overcome by her emotions. As I said before, if there's one thing you cannot fault MJ at, its his love for his children and that speech of Paris' just proved it. Everyone can call Michael everything else they want but they cannot call him a bad father. He loves those children and I feel for them and the whole family as well and only wish them the best as they struggle to cope with the loss of Michael.

I thought she was talking from the heart and that was quite brave of her to go up there in front of so many to speak like that. She is also one beautiful girl.

when i read the title of this discussion, i search some news of it right away... seen the video too. i fought back the tears. some said that she was coach and it was scripted... i dont know about these people. but to me her words came from her heart. she may not used to speaking to a lot of people as from what i know this is her first time to come out in the open, since mj wants them to live normal lives and hides them in public eye. she was brave there.

That's the most true word that you can ever hear from a loving daughter. I think that even if Michael didn't show his kids off to the public that often, I think he just did that so that they can have their freedom on their childhood and it's because MJ loves his kids so much
