Is it plausible to use a free web host for a game guide website?

I've been thinking about starting an XBox 360/XBox Live Arcade specific website like gamewinners, gamespot, and gamefaqs, but combining them to get a "super-site". But what I was wondering if using a free web host would work (with all the limitations and all I'm not too sure?) I really can't afford to pay as I am only 17 and unemployed. My thoughts are as long as the images and videos are hosted elsewhere, like photobucket, tinypic, or youtube there shouldn't be a problem. If anyone has any advice or good free web hosts with a descent amount of storage or bandwidth, I would greatly appreciate it.

There are very many sites offering free web hosting and you could try those. The problem is that these sites could disappear overnight. I have some experience with some web hosting companies which disappear and my data goes with them. This is very bad and I am going to look for more reliable web hosts.

Hmmmm... I've never heard anything about that. As long as I keep recent backups I suppose there is no harm though.
