I see more and more people wondering about the legitimacy of PTC sites and the like. Have you ever thought of typing the following query into google? - "site name" + scam - ( without the two stripes) This will show up all content on the internet with the site name and the word scam in it. If you can't find information on the legitimacy of a site you're not going to find it anywhere, not even on mylot.
Please stop spamming mylot with obsolete discussions.
Do you agree with me or am I the only one having these frustrations?

There are six billion people on this planet and they can't all be taught to do this and that. I have a problem with order and regulation and rules that limit my enjoyment of the internet. I am sure there are very many people who are angry about obsolete things and this could extend beyond mylot, just as there are many who have no idea their discussions are obsolete.

I like to use mylot along with some other forums to confirm if some site is legit.
Googling it might give you the wrong impression. Maybe some site was paying in the beginning but turned to be scam in the end? You need to get information up to date. Mylot is pretty good for that because there are users that will give you their experience with the site

I agree with you but sometimes there may be few comments in a search engine with someone saying it is scam but then in reality the site would pay or vice versa. I think people as here to see if anybody here has been paid by that site to ensure they do not do work for nothing. I sometimes search also in discussions here to see what people have said before then when still in doubt, I will ask.
This the same as the case that happened today with someone saying that mylot will stop paying and scaring some people especially new members.

Of course there are people around the web lying or exaggerating about an event in which a site didn't pay. Mostly these events have different causes but the author doesn't investigate instead they just impulsively vent their anger on them. Every internet user however, must know this and be able to filter through the information and determine what information is to be deemed plausible and what busted.
