My husband is in jail, what should I do? What will you do if it happens to you?

Well you don't say why he is in jail and that would decide what I would do. If its because of not paying child support I would support him. If it's robbery, rape or murder I'm running the other way. I would't want to deal with such a criminal in my life. So you need to explain a little more why he is in jail.

Well, he is actually a jail officer. I was just thinking how boring it is to be home while he is in jail but also how it would feel if a loved one were jailed.

It all depends on why he is in jail. You don´t say anything. My husband spent 4 days in jail once and I felt it as a medal. He was oposing a dictator and the cops took him during a protest. Fortunatly, the head cop was decent and he put him in a special room and let me bring him clothes, food and blankets. I pampered him as much as I could.

well unless he is in jail for incest,rape or murder you should stand beside him.As those things are the worst that can happen.Sharing the reason whay he got there would be helpful to give better advice and seimg that you guys are married you should be there for him regardless.

Men you can tell a lot of people don't read any responses before they post their reply. I they did they would have seen that you explained yourself. I thought it was cute myself, as far as what would I do if this was to really happen, I guess it would depend on what they were in there for.

Depends on what he is in jail for there are somethings that you can overlook and try to support him the best you can and then there are those things that you just can't overlook,in which case I suggest filing for divorce and leaving him.If it were to happen to me it would again depend on what he has done to end up in jail.Good luck on your search for an answer and have a great day.
