It seems this year my sinus/allergies are up major this year... I dont remember them being this bad last year but this year they seem to have doubled!! It rained yesterday and that kicked them in again, when it seemed like they were just cleared up again...
every time it rains I get a major sinus headache and it takes a day or two to clear up.... now we are going to have sun for about 3 days and then they are calling for rain again... it never seems to clear up for me this year!!
Is it the same way for you.... or do you have a miracle cure to take care of your allergies?? what do you do when you get a major sinus headache??

My mom had major allergy problems up until this year. she used charcoal to help her allergies and this year it's not nearly as bad as last year. she took 1.75 grams of charcoal every day on an empty stomach and didn't eat anything after that for 2 hours every day for 1 month then took a month break then did the same thing again next month. if you have seasonal allergies then it's best to do it in the winter before allergies kick in. helps really well for all sorts of allergies. basically what helps is getting the toxins out of the body which charcoal does a very good job doing. but anything that can remove toxins will help, but you need a major cleaning job :)
hope it helps :)

I have a lot of sinus headaches, myself.
When I have one, I just relax and take it easy. I will either put a hot, wet wash rag on my head for about twenty or thirty minutes or stand over a pan of boiling water with a towel draped over my head for the same amount of time. Sometimes I will do both if one didn't work. I most of the time just take an over the counter remedy such as benadryl or sudafed PE. If all else fails, I just go to the chiropractor. This seems to help me a lot! It sounds like the weather has been what has caused your headaches. It may be all the stress that you have been under, too. I haven't had a sinus headache for quite sometime but these things cause me to have them. I seem to be sneezing a lot these days, though!
I hope you get to feeling better.
Kathy.

THANKS!! its not as bad today with the headache... but the drainage is a real annoyance!!
I usually do pretty good with Advil Sinus, but even that hasnt really been helping, I can only hope that whatever is high in the air the last couple days goes away soon so that I can clear my head!!
thanks for the response and have a great night!

I'm glad you're feeling better!
I know what you mean about sinus drainage. It can be a pain, can't it?
I have a time clearing my throat all the time and it can be due to sinus drainage.
Plus, I do a lot of singing all the time and that doesn't help much. Kathy.

I don't have this problem so much, but I also rarely go outside either. Some things that you might do that can help clear your sinuses up... (Idk about the headaches exactly sorry)
Nasal irrigation, use a saline nasal spray, keep citrus scented/smelling drinks around or anything menthol/eucalyptus... that last bit seems to work for me, primarily drinks like Sunkist. I know its weird but that seems to do it. Try maybe some claritin or what I believe they call facial tapology.
Good luck!
