Where can I host my website for free?

Hello friends. I know lot of you manage your own site on the net. I would like to know which free hosting service you can suggest to me. I'm looking for a free hosting with a good monthly bandwidth, PHP, also without database, and is reliable. Any suggestions? Where do you host your site?

My preference is http://www.brinkster.com, because they allow ASP files to be uploaded. They don't allow any file write scripts though, but it we just look for getting input from visitor and display matching information, this would be better. Their daily bandwidth is 16.5 MB. So, if a visitor sees 'Bandwidth Limit exceeded', he can see your site the next day. (They don't carry forward the unused bandwidth to the next day) Good for a starter I think. These people in the market for quite a while. You can also try, http://webs.com and http://000webhost.com (they say they pay you, but I've heard they don't. However, they host our site for free and many people said its good)

Thanks friend for your response. I will try brinkster. I've to say I tried to use 000webhost but, for my opinion, is just a waste of time. More I've heard some rumors on the net about their referral program: seems is a scam and they will no pay. I don't know if is true, but, anyway, what surely is true is that the service they provide is bugfull.

Well...I've been using brinkster for about a year now. It's good so far. Sometimes, the control panel loads slow. (May be more free members are using it) What I like is, their support via chat room. I got my problem fixed through their chat room. I have created a website which looks very much professional. The only difference is, my website has a subdomain address. I can create referral links, store cookies and track my referral links. (But, the contact page is the main area I have to improve. I am not good at coding, so all my attempts failed there. If it works, I will be the happiest man.)

I use http://www.000webhost.com (You can see in my site in my profile that no banner at all) IT's support PHP, Mysql and many free packets that you can easy install just few minutes. (Like SMF, phpBB ... etc ...)

000webhost seems to be a not really good hosting service. There are lot of people in several forums, saying that hosting service has lot of problems: site down lot of time, mysql server restarting every hour, FTP upload most of the time impossible to use, and so on. You said you use this service, so have you ever got problems with it? And just to know, what's your site url (the site you host with 000webhost). I would like to check it from time to time, to see if is always online and operative. Thanks

I didn't check my site frequency. I have only 4-5 pages for promote my online earning. But normally I can see my site online. But currently, it's down too ... oh ... :(

I was using geocities in yahoo but they are closing so I now am in the process of moving it all to http://www.webs.com/index.jsp Have just started and seem to have no problems at all....Hope this helps... God Bless...

It has a section about creating a website with 5 different solid free webhosting sites. Can't honestly tell you which one will fit your specific needs, but all 5 sites offer different things and it's a place to start for ya. Hope it helps.

i am also facing same problems in hosting my site. but by researching more i found some sites which suits for hosting. they are 110mb.com and co.cc sites. these are the best free hosting services to be used on the net.

Hello friend. Lot of myLotters are promoting 00webhost. I've tried it and is not so bad. Fast enough, but sometimes I've experienced some problems with the FTP. Once happened my site was down too. So, I guess the site is interesting because of the referral program (you will earn $5 for every one will use their free hosting), but if you wanna a really good free hosting, I suggest you to try freehostia. Hello friend. I've take a try of 000webhost, but I should say that host is really bad. The site was down several hours per day, the FTP have lot of problems, due the FTP server seems always busy, the PHP engine give you back lot of problems, the MYSQL server always restarts, and so on. So if I should say to someone what free hosting to use, maybe I still don't know which one is a good one, but for sure I can say DON'T use 000webhost. About the referral program, rumors (something more than rumors, complains...) says that is a scam. So definitely leave that hosting service, really don't worth.
