Is it wrong to kill mice at home which destroys grains?

We store plenty of grains at home. And lately we have this mice problem which destroys everything. Apart from causing us financial loss, it makes the whole place dirty, sometimes emanating horrible smell of dead rodants. People say its wrong to kill them. We tried to catch them and leave them far away. But our neighbours started complaining. If killing is wrong, then what is the solution to this problem?

Our cats do the task for this mice. Wer have several cats about more than 30 heads and as of today we are not been bothered much by this mice. Sometimes there are 2 or 3 they can't rid off completely but our cats are doing their responsibility.

I feel it is wrong to kill them. After all, they are hungry so they eat. I feel that they should be caught using a mouse trap and should be thrown out somewhere far away where they wouldn't trouble anyone...

I have a question for you 'Do you kill ants and mosquitoes when they attack you?'. If you do that, you can go ahead and kill rats. I don't think there is something wrong in killing rats since they are eating up the grains and making the house messy. We used to kill rats at home when we had cocco trees. You can buy the trap box for rats or buy a cat. My hearty congrats on achieving your 100th post!

MOstly we kill mosquitoes by instant reaction. Yet it is killing. I think i need to be more violent. Ahimsa has no place in India. SO ur following my stats better than me. I didt notice i was about to score a century Thx for ur response

I agree with you not to kill animals. If you find a carcass, it's just buried. Thus, there is no smell is not tasty.

honestly, i don't know if it is really a crime to kill such rodants... but if you'll ask me, i'll kill them. they bring about problems not only do they destroy valuable things in your house but they also contribute to illness.
