These friend requests.............!!!!!!!!!!!??????????I again got the friend request from a person who doesn't have any activity on his profile...other than adding friends. From his profile I come to know that he has joined mylot almost 3-4 weeks ago...has 74 friends...and has posted nothing on myLot. No discussions, No responses, No comments, Nothing.. He just use mylot to add new friends, now I doubt that if I add this person, he will send me lots of links as a message and I am tired of it,now it ain't gonna happen.

I'm pretty sure opening one of these "friends" profiles to check them out was what infected my puter with a virus a few weeks back. I don't think anyone should be able to do anything (other than post) until they have a minimum number of posts - use the same rules as adding codes and c and p-ing, is my view. You're right, they're using us for referrals, that's all.

Yes, that is why I think there should be like minimum 10 response and then only you can add friends kind of rule..

Only 10? I would be happy to see it much higher. If they want to promote their sites they must fun gain respect here by expressing their views in the dicussions. Thattakes more than 10 posts.

yeah. but then also "Something is always better than Nothing.." :-) that's why 10 posts are better than nothing. obviously if mylot think about this topic, they will ask for 50 or 100 posts.. and then only can allow users to add friends.

hey lovedude, I am also getting irritated by getting so many friend request. there should be something to stop annyonymous friend request.

Thanks for your response. Yeah there should be some privacy for your profile but it would be dating site then.
