did ever happen to you to have the same ticket as someone else on a train?

Yesterday when I entered the train to come back home and showed my ticket to the girl who was sitting in the place that should have been mine, I discovered we had booked the same place. The two tickets were both valid. Fortunately there were other seats empty, so the trouble was not that big. Did it ever happen to you?

That happened to me one time and there weren't any spare seats in that compartment. So I walked along the train saw an empty seat and asked if it was free. It would have been bothersome if no other seats had been available. I was sitting in my plane seat when a lady showed me her boarding pass. We had the same seat. I especially wanted a window seat. A member of the cabin crew said sorry to her. They found her another seat so that was fine.

So you had the chance to talk to some crew member. Did they give you any explanation about how could it have happened? We had no chance to do that because no staff showed up. Happy mylotting

Nope, I think one ticket is fake and the other one isn't. Because it's impossible to have two tickets for the same seat, maybe the two tickets date are different but you didn't notice. I have done this before when I was a student, coz I want to go home earlier. Xiaolin, First I saw you name, I thought you were a Chinese, because it's common to to see xiaolin in China. Happy everyday, Xiaolin. I love China, Pengbubu.

we also checked everything: time, coach, seat. Both were valid. I must say that I booked the ticket on line and paid it at the station the day after at 2 p.m. I had time to pay until 7 p.m. She bought the ticket at the station at 7:20 p.m. I think the computer at the station had some problems when I payed for my ticket and didn't realize the place was taken, because it had waited unti after 7 p.m. to sell it to her... I don't know the reason, I'm only happy I didn't have to stand for over four hours only because of that. Thanks for your blessing, Pengbubu, I also love China and that's why I chose this name even if I'm not Chinese. I wishi you all the best, too

I have never had that happen. There have been times when it seemed like it happened, but upon further review it was usually a different car or a different time! As long as there are plenty of seats, not a big deal. Im glad there werent any problems!

We checked the date, the seats, the name of the line and everything, and there was no mistake. Both the tickets were valid. We couldn't find out anything more because the train chief didn't show up. Thanks for joining the in the conversation.
