Do you have a backup plan
How long before you would truly start missing your computer? What could you see your
self doing?

I would say that I have gone without a computer for the longest time of a week in the last three years or so.Usually I start to become nervous about whats happening with people I care about who I am mostly in touch by email after about two or three days without access.

Hello, I can go only a day without my computer. When I am sick I have no choice but to stay off the computer so I can get well.I have tried to go online just to read the news paper but only stay for 20 minutes before I start get light headed but then I will have to go back to bed to rest.I have 2 laptops and I can go to a family members house to connect to their wi-fi just like I let them use my wi-fi when they are visiting.

I had the internet turned off of my computer for over 2 years at one time, internet service was just to high. At the time I got a lot more done around the house, I read a lot of books and watched TV. I had it turned back on when I went back to school to do research, now it seams like I stay on it all the time. If it got cut back off I would miss it for a while, but it wouldn't take long to get used to not having it again.

As long as I have my cellphone, i can survive without computer. I got my own internet thru my cellphone. I answer this discussion thru my cellphone, so how is it? Is this great? Cool right? We can do a lot of things using our cellphone nowadays.

Computer is essential to me, or it maybe not really a necessity but i am missing computer even in one day that i could not open it. If the reason is no internet connection or there is problem with the computer i can live without it, but i am still looking for some alternative way. Going to the internet shop is one way.
