Obsession or Possession?

I have two obsessions...well, I really have 4 or 5 but, for now, I will stick with the two. I have become obsessed with two online games. As I played the last round of one of them, just a few minutes ago, I wondered if I had become possessed. I heard a voice and words that I have never even heard before, coming out of my mouth. I kept hearing: Give me something to work with you @%$*^&%%, *^&&^%$^%^, ^$%^$#@$$%^%! I regained my composure, and thought, Geez, it's just a game! Calm down! Then, I heard the voice on the game say, EXCELLEMT! And, just as I heard that, I thought to myself, OH, Damn! If I had moved that the other direction, I could have made three times as many points! Again, the strange voice, and words came out of my mouth. How $^%&^ excellent could it be when I could have made three times the points, if I had just glanced to the left, instead of the right, huh? Again, I quickly regained my composure and continued to play. Suddenly I saw the most brilliant move in the whole game! I made the move then, quickly realized, once again, that if I had moved the piece down, instead of up, I would have TRULY made THE most brilliant move. And, again, I heard the voice on the game saying EXCELLENT! And, yes, once again, that voice and those words flew from my mouth. You &%&$^#%^ idiot! How was that excellent? Excellent for a *(&%$^, *&^*$%##$ idiot, maybe! That was about the least excellent move I have made all *^&%$^%$ morning! Shut *&^&*(*&^%&& up, you #$%#$@#$ monkey machine! I felt the blood drain from my face, I broke out in a cold sweat, started to convulse, violently. I felt my eyes roll back into my head, and my head began to spin... then it was over... I was myself again. As soon as I could think clearly, I shut the game off and, ran for shelter from the evil thing. What do you think, obsessed or possessed? Or was I possessed by the obsession? Or, maybe I am obsessed with possession, or.............*shrugs* I don't know, but I do know that I am NOT going back there again. Not today, anyway. Do you have an obsession? Does it seem that you become possessed by it, sometimes? Anybody want to my elbows?

OK, you're obsessed, the computer is possessed. But if you'd made that other move you'd have heard "iinncredible!"

Sorry, that wasn't one of the choices.*L* Yeah, yeah, it was one of the tags, but not one of the choices.

It is bejeweled, and it is driving me insane. I know when I start slowing down and it takes me the whole minute to find the first move, that it is time to lay off and go find something else to do.*LOL* Now I have to go see if I can beat James's score in farkle........that one just pisses me off! The game, not James*L*

Ooop's! See it has already turned my brain to mush. I meant James' score, not James's.

The voice said "EXCELLEMT" did it? Is it a dyslexic voice then? Have you considered a nice, calm hobby like floral arrangement or origami? It does sound like one of these would be far safer and mentally stable for you. I become both possessed and obsessed with games too. Especially of someone beats me! I then have to go back and try and try until I'm number 1 again. I swear, call myself stupid..... You name it! And the last question there..... "Anybody want to my elbows"? sure, I'll go with the flow on that one, but what does it mean exactly? LMAO

Oh and NOW the tongue smilie shows itself! Jeez. It wasn't there before for some reason, so I was wondering what the heck "want to my elbows" meant.

You are obssessively possessed! LOL I'm already OCD in a lot of ways, so I'm careful to stay away from new 'addictions.' As for your elbows..............now that could change my 'isolationist' policy pretty quick! ROFL

Ummmm, How am I going to talk to you, little man, if I step away from the computer, huh? I can be pretty loud, but I don't think shouting across the ocean is going to work.

Not into elbows. You never know what they've been resting on... My obsession is poppit and thank goodness I can't get it to work at work. I'd overrun my breaks and somebody would walk into my cubicle and find me drooling and I'd miss all my deadlines and be in trouble. PS my new friend over on Yuwie said to send you her compliments on the avatar!
