I recieved payment from my dad. That was of 9 cents. But when I saw my balance it was showing as zero. I have two personal accounts. I send 21 cents from one of my personal account to another. In one account I have around 200 USD and in another I have 0. So I wanted to transfer some money to my zero balance one account. I had done this before but now there is some problem. Why this happened? I have some doubt that is it because of the same ip address? I use both my paypal account through same ip address as well as my dad uses the same ip address. The shocking thing was when I send the money, in my recent activity, I could see both the payment as recieved, but my balance was zero. After 2-3 minutes, both the recent activity balance also appeared as zero. But when I open that transaction, I can still see the amount. Can anyone suggest me something? I am really worried? I dont want my paypal account to be get blocked or hacked!

I didn't think someone could have more than one pay pal account to begin with. I may be wrong, I'm not totaly sure. I think however the problem may be the ammount you are sending. PayPal charges you a small fee when you recieve money from another pay pal account in some circumstances, such as simply sending money (though it doesn't do it for purchases) The ammount your sending may just be getting absorbed by that fee. Try having your father send an ammount of about $2.00 USD or try sending a few bucks from one of your accounts to the other and see if that makes a difference. the ammounts your talking about right now are pretty tiny. Other than that, I don't really know, you'll have to contact PayPal support.

Yes you are wrong. One can have one personal and one premium paypal account. If an account has more than 50$, then it's automatically upgraded to premium account, and so he basically have 1 premium and 1 personal account. :)

and harptech u said that if u have more than 50USD then it becomes business, but actually, in my account, I can still see as personal account instead of business account. Then how come fees will be charged?

I am confused. I think the main reason is that the 9 cents your dad cent you doesn't equate to 1 dollar you wanted to see or transfer. even the 9 plus 21 cents doesnt count as a dollar.

yes u r right. but in paypal u can send funds below 1 USD. Thats alertpay who does not allow to send funds below 1 USD. In paypal u can even send 0.01 cents! But still my balance is zero.

If paypal thought you were violating the TOS, they would simply lock your account, what is called - limiting your account. Don't worry, see if it resolves in its own, or else contact the paypal support.

Activity does not always show up immediately on a PayPal account. Sometimes the transaction will show up before the balance is updated; sometimes the balance will update before the transaction shows on your account. Have you checked your account since you posted this discussion? It's probably already updated. You may run into problems if you have two Personal accounts. PayPal's terms of service specifically state that a member may have two accounts, but only one of them may be Personal. The other has to be either a Premier or Business account.

thanks for letting me know this. But what if both the accounts are in different names? And yes I checked my account now also, but still the balance there is zero.

I think their is not Term like this that you cant access one or more paypal account from one IP address. I think u mailed them about your quires or wait i think they must be in maintenance of website therefore their would be late in transactions.
