Every day.. I see Vince and his amazing sham wow, yes dude I know it's not a shammy... or a towel, but does it really work!? I do have a car or truck, and another kind of vehicle haha. But am I out of my mind because I don't own one of the incredible sham wows? If you have seen the commercial and can answer me then please do so :-). If you think some of my screws are loose and have no idea what I just said... this is the commercial I am referring to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHtZ-CXlgN0 And once again, will I really be saying sham..WOOOOWW??

I caught this commercial for the first time yesterday. I thought that what I would do is ask my sister who buys everything or almost everything off the TV. I also would visit our local Bed, Bath & Beyond store. They have a section of merchandise that is offered on TV infomercials. I would rather see the item in person before I lay down the cash for it. I have not used one of these but I do have a cloth that cleans windows that I have had for years from www.hilook.com that I just love. You just wet it and you can clean any TV screen or computer screen, windows, glass, etc. It's not as versatile as the Sham looks to be but it has really held up over the years.

That Hilook sounds great, you wet it and then use it for electrical appliances? That doesn't damage a monitor screen? I think I have seen something similar for a car before but not for TV/Computer Screens... sounds interesting

You have to make sure that it is clean before dragging it across a computer or TV screen. I just toss it in the washer from time to time. If it looks pretty clean I rinse it out by hand and hang it to dry on a towel bar. It was originally designed to clean things like reading glasses. If you go to www.hilook.com you will be able to see the different ways that they sell it. I found it at a local retail store in our area. I think you can search the site for a store in your area. It has some of the best weave I have seen on any of these cloths. I have cleaned our 64" sony screen on our TV for ten years with it, without a scratch. The same for computers, mirrors, windows, etc.

Wow cool. I have always wanted something to clean my monitor and TV screen. When I get enough money from this site I may buy one. Lol. I don't like transferring money into my paypal to order something. I make it my goal to earn the money. Then I feel much better!

I would say yeah they work pretty well the only thing is that after repeated use the towel fabric really starts to fall apart. I used to have one for the longest time and would use it a lot and the fabric started to come apart on it. But yes if your wondering if its as good as it says then yes it is. I would just recommend you take good care in them while you use them and dont use them on rough surfaces as that can damage them.

I have some of those fake shammois, but they're not sham wow brand. They work pretty well. The part where he just throws it down on the spill and it immediately absorbs is a little unbelievable. The older mine get the less they absorb, but they are really handy and versatile. Like cobrateacher says sham wow is overpriced. I bought mine about 10 years ago at a flea market.
