Hello friends,
That the first incident happened is one thing. It is a case of engineering / quality / process failure. DMRC / Gammon and the General Consultant are squarely to blame for that. There is a set process for that sort building work and so only trained operators are needed to do a routine job. This is clear.
However, to recover from such an incident requires a coordinated management and only experts can handle it. Depending on crane operators to manage it is too much. This is where the real test is.
Remember movie Armageddon? They sent the real experts from the field to do a critical task - a task that could not have been done by 'routine' astronauts!!!
