What is your cat's name, What were the options for it's name?

Well when we first got our cat we went through a whole lot of names. Tauro, Twinkle, Sox, Trolley, Abraham. We must have had atleast 50 names we thought were good finally we settled on tuxedo for our cat. We just call him tux for short. This is because he looks like he's wearing a tux. What was your cats names or suggestion for names?

haha My cat eats a lot aswell. In fact one of the names we pondered was garbage. its mouth was just like a trash can.

sox,wiskas,hugo and otis..the kids chose sox and wiskas and me and my partner chose hugo and otis

I've had a number of cats over the years and what I thought were cute names.
When my boys were young, we had a black and white that they named Oreo, and an orange one that they named Toots. One of them later had a black and white guinea pig and since Oreo was already taken, he settled on Hydrox (another black and white cookie).
The cat I have now is named Shirley. Two little kittens wandered into my yard over a year ago, both females, so we tried to come up with names that were a 'pair'. After some thought, I came up with 'Laverne and Shirley' after the popular (albeit silly) television show of some years back.
Unfortunately Laverne disappeared and was never seen again. Shirley is still around and is the best mouser.

haha your boys are really good at thinking up names for your cats. I love the name oreo. mostly because i love oreos but I can imagine a cat named oreo. Easy to call and a cute name.

My Cats name is Terry. I've read somewhere that Cats listen to their names better if the name has an "Y" at the end. Maybe you can call your Cat Tuxy?

Well strangly enough when we use that annoying high whiny call to call our cat we do call him tuxy.

Well, My first cat's name is Lao Hei, cos it is black. And the second cat's name is Tou Yi, cos he has very good temper and very soft, really like a toy... so his name is from toy but more asian, so.. it is tou yi. Hehe

ooooo cool. We actually looked into naming our cats something in a different language but the online converters aren't very reliable. I love asian names they have something really cool about them

haha thats cute. I love names that aren't just named because it's a cool name. If you know what I mean? Like calling a cat ginger. Cuz its orange.
