i dont see anything wrong in switching jobs, some people see at as being disloyal to the company a person is working in if they change job but i dont see it as like that. there are a lot of reasons why people switch jobs. the salary, if i think that i am paid less and i have a higher offer in another company, i think i would grab the new offer, considering how hard the time is now. the place, if we move to another place and my workplace is far from our house and thinking of the fare and how much i am earning monthly, if my take home will be not that good anymore, i will consider switching job. the working condition, and if you are not happy with the job you are in right now. these two i will also take into consideration when switching jobs.

As far as I'm concerned, I'll avoid switching jobs, but till today, I've switched three jobs. I'm into my fourth job now in 20 years. People switch jobs for various reasons. They might want to move on after spending a number of years in the current job. They might want to get a new experience. They might just be unhappy with the working environment, or they have to follow their husbands. The right time to switch jobs is when you feel very dissatisfied with the present one. For instance, you get no more motivation to work harder, you drag your feet out of bed daily, you keep getting blamed no matter how hard you've tried, you constantly look at your watch, you make excuses for not going to work, you're so tired of your job that you feel like screaming at the top of your lungs. I left my jobs for those reasons. In my current job, I'm still alright. My advise is, avoid job-hopping too often. It's bad for your resume, bad for your reputation in the employers' eyes.
