My points down today. , but I do not know the reason. Yesterday, I close Mylot with 600 points. Today I open mylot with 593 points. Is there a friend here who never experienced it? Why?

What has happened is that either you or someone has violated myLot's guidelines and all the responses regarding the violated post have been deleeted. Even if you have done nothing wrong, and suppose you respond to a discusison and somoene puts theri affiliate link with their reference id number, that section would be deleted. If the post is deleted because of violation, then any member who replied to it would also lose points even it they did nothing wrong. One of the rules is not to say how much you made, that you reached so and so points, and putintg down a straight recipe or a joke with no introductory or comment with it.

Hello hsofyan, Yes, I have experienced it before and in fact, I had started a discussion on it as well. Probably you didn't bother searching weather such a discussion is already there. Anyways, coming to your topic, the reason is that you might have responded to discussions started by users who were later banned or the discussion itself was irrelevant. hence, the content posted by you would have been deleted with it. Secondly, you might have unknowingly violated the terms and conditions. They're very strict about these things. All the best for future.

There are two reasons for losing points. If you posted a discussion that is against Mylot rules and someone reports it, it will be deleted. If you have commented on a discussion that is deleted, all the comments are also gone, and you will lose the points you got for your participation. It's best to know the rules, and to pay attention to the discussions you comment on. I don't even bother to comment on the kinds of discussions that are most likely to be deleted.

Okay, I will learn the rules more carefully again. Particularly about the discussion is prohibited. Thanks for sharing, Unusualsuspect.

If you made a post in a discussion that was removed, you post count will go down. The best bet is to stay out of discussions that may somehow violate the terms of service here and have a chance of being deleted. Stick to responding in discussions that won't be deleted. Also, if someone either removes their mylot account or has their account deleted, any discussions they have created are removed too so if you respnded in the discussion of some one who is no longer a mylot member, your response in that discussion is gone with the rest of the thread.

Well i can say this. Mylot will delete discussions they do not approve of. Also will delete a discussion if it is a repeat discussion as if it was done in the past. They do not like that and want all things to be fresh and new. You have to stand by the guidelines they stand by here and if you don't your response or discussion will be deleted. Hope i have helped you out some and enjoy mylotting today.
