Do you know who makes virus and why.i know one reason--Most of the antivirus companies makes virus to be ahead in market.By doing so they make claims after infection by a virus that they have solution to the virus and due to this if virus is serious one then many big companies purchase the antivirus which has solution to it.Also they outsmart each other by creating ne versions of viruses. And when asked about it they just turn away.some software geeks also create viruses to aquire information from other users usually trojans. If you know more then please share...

I think some people create virus just to test their computer skills and become famous among their peers. Some creates those nuisance just to have some fun and play tricks to other people. Some are just to stupid to create programs that will destroy other person's computers and steal personal information such as Social Security Number.

most of the viruses malware, adware worms are use for personal profit.. as for example-trojan keylogger is used to send to the hackers things you type such as your credit info when you buy something from internet. a mail worm infects your computer to send all those annoying mail spam you receive in your mail trash....

Virus could be created by anyone who have knowledge in computer or in programming language. In just using the visual basic or java for example they could create code that will result into virus, trojan horse, malware, adware, anything that can harm the computer or files. They are doing it for fun, for money. Sometimes they are just trying to test if the code or program they do could be virus. People who create viruses etc for money or for business will also create antivirus.

It's clear that those who makes viruses must profit from it. I think anti-virus companies makes virus and spread it, so that you have to buy their software to remove the virus. there is also some programs that pretends to have detected some viruses on your computer, and annoy you until you buy their software that will remove the fictional virus.

Some people just make viruses for fun. I once wrote a virus in c++ just so i could experiment and see how it was done. But like i say i was just experimenting i never release it into the wild. But i could see how people could make money off of writing viruses for live av company's and stuff.

there are many different things in relation to the virus creation so it depends..in some cases because they are malicious events on your computer o stole informaions, personal dates, your privacy and so on..others give the facilities to hackers towards systems and others i guess are created also from the companies which they will seel you anti-virus to have always a large number of customers for their programs...there are also a category that will do it just for fun..or to feel powerful but they are really a few normally young guys not much in relaion to other motivations!!

There are many reasons people create virus'. One reason is the person wants to push there limits, and see just how much they know about computer systems. Sometimes the person finds it to be a challenge to get around security measures. That same person might feel powerless, and doing harm to someone elses pc may make them feel more in control. Instead of a direct face to face contact where the person may be confronted, they perfer to hide behind a computer. Some virus and malware is created simply to make profit. Antivirus 2008 and 2009 are good examples. They install themselves and locked the pc up in various ways. Popups occur asking to buy their software to remove the malware they put on your pc in the first place. Very unethical.
