VETERANS, let's give the new members an INSPIRATION!

Everyone here on mylot, especially the VETs, please join me in giving INSPIRATION to the new members.
I want you to go to your earnings page and browse your previous earnings. Check the date where you earned the highest and come back here. Let's post it here so the new members get inspired and forget about the rumors that mylot is not a good paying site.
I had made my own check and i found out that on JULY 21, 2008, I earned $0.92 which is my highest so far, in a single day. I guess this is a bit lower than yours. And I made this without taking any task as there wasn't no mylot task yet on that day.
And to the newbies, you can also do it. And we believe you can do better than we already did.

My highest, all-time earning for one day here was $2.99! Yep, I really made that much... once. It was one of those weird, rare days when I simply could not tear myself away from myLot. There were so many fabulous discussions going on that day and I was a relative newbie myself at the time.
For all the newer members, never fear! MyLot DOES pay! The coolest thing about it is that they pay you for having fun! I think that people who come here ONLY to make extra money will probably be disappointed in the small amount that most people here get paid in a day but, if they really enjoy the interaction with other members, and participate without thinking about dollars and cents, they'll be amazed at just how quickly that money can add up!
I've been here since May 2008, just 14 months ago. I've been paid every single month except for two when I had exceptionally busy months and had many other things that had to be done so I could not spend as much time as I would have liked here.
MyLot, to me, is first and foremost the best social networking site I've EVER found. You can find, or create, discussions on almost every topic out there. You make friends, you share, you care, you learn so much. Getting paid is a great bonus. When I added up how much money I made here in just one year, I was very inspired because that money has really come in handy!
But, keep in mind, that I LOVE writing and interacting with others. I also have a very big mouth 
so I normally have a lot to say.
Oh, right! I forgot about the tasks! I completed 2 tasks one day that were worth $3.00 each. They were both approved. So, that day, I earned a little less than $7.00.
I'd love to hear what the person with the highest earnings for one day earned... without the tasks and with them.

To be quite honest with you, I'd be happy with $.25 every day. I consider the pay as pure bonus, icing on the cake, because myLot is such a fun place to hang out. I certainly don't make anywhere near that much most of the time, but I don't care. I love everything there is to share here.
If I was looking for some serious money, I'd definitely be looking somewhere else because even if was easy to make $2.99 a day here, it's still not much for the time spent.
There's also always the possibility of losing some of the money we've already earned because sometimes the discussions we answer get deleted for one reason or another and, when they do, we lose the money we earned by responding to them.
So, don't be shocked if your balance goes down sometimes. The most I've lost in one day was $.80! It was very surprising to lose that much in one day, but I also noticed that I lost 10 points in my number of posts, which meant that 10 of the discussions I had responded to had been deleted overnight. MyLot does that sometimes, usually near the end of the month.

really? ... $2.99 in a day??????/ that was really awesome!!!! i have tried to really focus and dedicate my time in mylot in a particular day just to see how high could i earn in a day and i am telling you, i was really super exhausted at that time but my earnings is not that much... well, i just commend you.. you must really be a fast writer. and yeah, i have been paid here too but i have not reach the $1 in a day. hehehe... i just know i am doing it slowly and surely. * LOL *

Hey, even i am a newbie here but i can tell others that i have got what i did. I made 36 cents on 11th july 2009. Most of the time i earn more than 10 cents. I am happy here and inspire others to keep working and enjoying!

What one user earns will not be the same as what another earns as we earn for the quality of our activities and as each one of us different,so will the quality be too. It willalsodepend on the amount of time we can be here each day (orweek) too ao there is no point in making comparisons.
What we can do is inform them that mylot is still paying all the users that reach their minimum payout and they do so before the time they state. It should be the 15th of the next month but instead it is always a bit earlier

i really think we should be talking about earnings. the older members may have joined mylot not because of the earnings. but most new members now thought of mylot as being a paying site. if they hear mylot is not paying, then they will go. but if they knew that we, the older members, the VETERANS already been paid and can earn this amount in a day, they will get inspired to do more work. another thing maybe is to challenge them? that if we can do this, then they can also do this or maybe better.

I prefer to inspire them by advising them as to what they should do in order to earn. Respond to others and comment back to the responses they receive on their own discussions without thinking about the earnings at all - then they start to add up. Simply because there is no comparison between users, knowing what others earn could even be a deterant.
Users who have been here years have obviously been paid at some point or they would have long been gone. Posting amounts earned is considered as a poll and not as a quality discussion and is cause for deletion.

okay fine with your opinion. inspire them by how or what should they do to earn. respond to others and comment back to responses.
but are you considering earnings or these new members just come here to waste their times. we see a lot of newbies here talking about their earnings. and believe that the site is paying. so why not talk about the earnings.
also, i am not trying to create a poll here. i just want the members know how we can earn in a single day. meaning, there is no limit but we can earn high if we will just work hard. we know that we earn by responding, starting a discussion, etc. but if we will not work hard, our earnings will not get higher and will not reach the payout.

HI best...well the highest earning that I've got in a day since I started was $0.87 and it was in July 18, 2008. Whew that was when I was really active here. I hope I could do the same as before. I hope the newbies will get inspired and will do better like us. HUGZ always...

Hi neil! my highest earning so far is $0.46 in a day! and that was last February 4, 2009. .. It was already an achievement for me at that time and i was already very happy. I get on the average like $0.20 to $0.25 in a day and that is already very good on my part .. i am already exhausted and yet thats the best i can get until this February 4. I have not earned something close to that after wards. I have not been active lately.. ^_^

hi ysabel. see what happens when everybody here will just work hard. imagine yours, you only have 386 at your number post but you did almost half dollar in just a single day. but it is really really exhausting day, isn't it?

hi neil! looking at your number of posts (and that of mentalward).. i got shy off a bit! i am just a novice compared to the two of you! he he! .. but really, honestly, its not just about earnings here in mylot. i have almost all my saddest moment and i shared it here. i thought i cannot move on, and i wrote it here and there were quite so many responses. sometimes if i feel i am also depressed again, i just read back those reply and encouragement.... you know, those really helped me more! that should be the inspiration that newbies should look forward too. its the brighter side.. having to cultivate new friendships, exchages of ideas, self-expression.. you know, things like that! but of course, i would be hypocrite if i rule-out the money factor! he he he

What a good idea of your but I hope the newbies will read your discussion as I have just looked at mine so from July 13th, I earned, $0.40 that was my highest,didn't do any task, I can't be bothered with all that. Hugs.

dear tamara. i guess it will be fine doing the normal work here at mylot, responding, commenting and starting discussions, and still we can earn. i thought of doing a task but i found it difficult for me, i may loose track. hope newbies will notice this discussion so that we can give them inspiration... neil
