will your company offer lunch to ur staff?

When i worked at blockbuster, they very rarely provided lunch for any of the staff. I think the only time they would give us anything was if we were having a sales drive, where we would have to sell as much as we could in one night, and the district managers from all around would sit in the office in my store and tally up everything. Since they ordered pizza for themselves, they would offer whoever was working at the time something to eat, but that was about it. We were very rarely even aloud a lunch break when i was working there, which i thought was illegal. Im pretty sure youre supposed to be aloud at least 30 minutes if youre working an 8 hour shift, and i really could have used those breaks because i was pregnant, and my feet swelled up pretty bad. I know they started pushing breaks around the time i was working there, but it was hard to take one because they would give you so much to do in one shift, you couldnt get your break in and get everything else done.

hi babyorchid, our company offers us break fast, lunch and dinner. Our company is paying half amount and we will pay half. we have to buy coupons for it. Yes sometimes its good if the comapny offers food so that we dont have to order or pack a tiffin box but sometimes the vendors dont give good food. they add soda so that people dont eat toomuch. every thing has two sides. still its good .. enjoy

At where I work, if you work in the morning, you can eat lunch and if your (also) working in the evening, you get to eat dinner. You don't get to choose what meals you can have though, everyone will have the same thing but, you can decide on how much you could take and eat. Unfortunately, my work schedule isn't synchronized with the time when my dinner is available so they would just set aside enough food for me so that I can eat it when I have my break (^_^ ) I have watched an infomercial from (S)Korea wherein a company would order black bean noodles for everyone in their company and that's over more than the usual orders that a huumble noodle shop could handle. Overwhelming as well as very amusing.

upon the physical plane,money is freer than anything including food.what do you like to eat,just buy it,don't tell me you are too lazy to buy some foods on foot,you want somebody send it to you,however,you can make a phone call some take-away foods. Little beauty

I guess that the answer will depend very much on what industry you are working in. As far as i know, if are working in the F&B industry, the company does offer at least one free or subsidized meal. There are also factories that either offer subsidized meal or food allowances to their employees.
