Does anyone else out there have experience with stomach Ulcer's, I go tomorrow to determine how deep it is, etc, they are going to do a MRI to determine how deep it is and if it is bleeding. I have been vomiting but have not vomited any blood, however my stools have been much darker, They think the ulcer is low in my stomach. I just want it to stop hurting. Any suggestions???

Apart from the alkaline diet you should also look at your stress level. Do whatever you can to lower that. Is there someone against whom you hold a serious grudge? If so, consider going and sort it out or just go and forgive that person or persons. You won't believe the results. It is worth it.

No grudges, but I have a great deal of stress right now, we are considering putting out house on the market and there is so much to do to get it ready. On top of that the kids are off to school soon, my cousin is here with us for the summer and well I am just tired.

I hope everything goes well with you at the doctor's office tomorrow. I will be praying for you. Please keep us updated. I had a stomach ulcer after I had my hysterectomy in 1990. I had an endoscopy, where the doctor ran a light down my throat, and to tell you the truth, I don't remember what he did. I think he put me on some medicine for it, though, and I felt better after that. The doctor and I didn't know for sure if I had an ulcer until he did the endoscopy, though. He said this was common after hysterectomy. I tell you, it sure was painful and I know what you're going through. Kathy.
