Our library offers a rather limited selection on such titles. I don't know too many books that would get rejected out of hand, so could someone help me out here? Something suitable for the public, something for beginners to read, something that my boss wouldn't immediately dismiss, factual and informative?

Anything by Scott Cunningham, or Silver Ravenwolf, those are good beginner to advanced books. Gerald Gardner for the more avdanvced. Also legally a library can not ban these books, it is called freedom of religon and they could be sued.

Um.Because it is a school library, we have to be careful what we add to it. The director of the polytechnic might step in if he doesn't like what we are adding. =p But thank you for your suggestion, anyway.

Sweetie it does not matter if it is a school library or a public library. Wicca is a religion, if they won't allow a wiccan book in that library then there damn sure better not be any bibles in there either, otherwise it is religious persecution.

A long time ago, I did some research on wicca. Long story why. I came across a book called Never on a Broomstick, and I really enjoyed it. I checked it out of my local library. It has since "disappeared" from that library. No, I didn't take it! I think they got rid of it.

aleddon, the library weeds out old books that fall into a state of disrepair on a regular basis. Also, sometimes patrons lose books, or simply prefer to keep a particular book and pay the fines. I didn't think you'd taken it. *grin*
