The best thing to do is to regularly delete all of your cookies. It is worth the inconvenience of have to re-log on to accounts or memberships. Go to the settings in your browser and delete all cookies and if possible schedule your browswer to delete them once a week or two. Some internet spyware protection programs will help prevent invasive cookies from tracking your online activity.

To add something, I suggest Ccleaner to scrape off those cookies. It works well with browsers cookies, temporary files and more. You all should try using it often. It can be downloaded in Filehippo.com

As far as I know, all the cookies are not tracing our online activities and most of the cookies are only storing our log in information. Only the affiliate tracking cookies are tracing our online activities and they can be easily removed with the help of spy ware removing software. I am using CCleaner and Spy ware terminator to remove them and in CCleaner I will add the cookies of my favorite sites so that they can not be removed while removing the cookies. I will clean my system with ccleaner at least thrice in a day.

Yes cookies trace just websites you visit or log in when you are on the net..so they would not trace other activities on your computer as well!!! They are simply a text files so not many dangerous for you pc...if you want more privacy you can set up your setting of your browser and so allow just some cookies and others not in this way some websites won't be available to surf as before..or when you finished your activity online simply delete them ...there are some programs that they delete authomatically cookies...so you can check some of them if you are worried about it...surely for som websites would be normal to receive and trace activity from cookies so may be delete them regulary when you finished it cna eba ood privacy setting !!
