No, not emails from or to Australia! I have a problem with just one of my email contacts. They can email me with no problem, but if I try to reply, or send a new email, I get a 'failed delivery' message with the following:
Remote MTA mx1.hotmail.com: network error
- SMTP protocol diagnostic: 550 SC-001 Mail rejected by Windows Live Hotmail for policy reasons. Reasons for rejection may be related to content with spam-like characteristics or IP/domain reputation problems. If you are not an email/network admin please contact your E-mail/Internet Service Provider for help.
As it only happens with this one contact, and I have others who also use hotmail, I'm wondering if it's something really simple I can fix myself. I can see no reason for content rejection. Can anyone help? Please use words of one or two syllables, as I don't really do technical!
I need to sort this, as I edit a community newsletter for this person, so I have to be in regular contact. At the moment, I have to send everything to another contact, and ask them to pass it on, which is far from satisfactory. Thanks in anticipation.
