for me it hurts my dignity as a man or a husband because a man should be more responsible of the family especially the issues of money!

Well.. it depends upon the wife's nature and also from husband's mentality.. In my case too it's the same.. we have almost an thousand rupees difference in salary as my increment and her increment comes in different month.. but we never make issues for such things..

i think it depends on who my wife is.in my opinion,the roles in a familly is fair.so anyone cann't be absent.
