Have you ever mistaken somebody to someone else?

Like when you met someone for the first time in short conversation and then after some time you met someone you thought was that somebody in the past. But in fact you got the wrong guy. I had. It was not so embarrassing because the person that I incidentally 'bumped' into was very friendly. He thought that I was being nice to say HI to him. LOL. It was funny experience with strangers anyway. I hope I can be more careful next time. Careful in the sense that I won't make anyone disappointed.

I too expierenced the same as you do but the difference is that that man was quite upset with my behaviour and thought me as iam making fun of him and he screamed at me once and left the place and never gave me a chance to apologise.

That's what I'm afraid of. He must feel embarrassed for being treated like that and you might feel the same for having such a reaction from that man. Feel sorry for you. Thanks for sharing.

I think this is natural as I have also undergone this situation so I think it is just that we meet many people and then we either meet then in a rush or we meet them only one time so it is normal to just think that the person resembles someone else whom we met in the past.

Yes, I believe what you've said cause us to mistaken somebody from someone. Lately, I can't really remember people who I met just in 'a glance'. It'll require several times of meeting for me to remember someone, unless I think he or she's interesting.
