We actually use a cable connection that seems to work well. I am really wanting to get a wireless router so that I am not stuck in one spot trying to use the internet. I mean really its kind of silly to have a laptop but still be stuck in one place lol.
What kind of internet connection do you use? Do you have a wireless router in your home? If you do, do you recommend using a wireless router?

I use broadband connection for accessing internet at home. Earlier I used dial-up and also used to connect through my cell phone, but the speed was very low. Now I am using broadband since more than a year now and very happy with the speed I get. It is really fast and perfect if you are doing voice communication, I usually do conference call from home and I found that because of speed the voice clarity is really good. Well I have not yet installed wireless router in my home, but planning to do the same in couple of months. It will make easier for me to access internet from any room. Yes my friend is using wireless router and he has given me positive feedback, so depending on your requirement you can go for wireless one.

We have dsl here and it works good for us. I also bought a wireless router so that we all do not have to be connected or wires ran through out the house here. My daughter likes the wireless she can take her laptop anywhere she wants around here as well as outside. It does come in handy for us.
