Yesterday was the first of summer hot days,we should eat dumplings that day,so my boyfriend and I bought some mater convolvulus,I chopped the vegetables,then mixed with eggs and oil.Then my boyfriend made the dough,I made dumpling.When we finished,it was 8:00 pm.We were all tiered,however we were all happy.
Do you love eating dumpling?

No, we don't have the custom of eating dumplings when summer starts...because we can eat Chinese Dumplings anytime at our Chinese Restaurant. Love them...Chinese Dumplings are different than the dumplings made in the US. The dumplings you make are often called "Raviolis" in the US....Pasta with meat in the middle.
What we eat around here when summer rolls around is - Home grown Corn on the Cob, alot of freshly grown vegetables, Fried clams, steam clams, Lobster. These are the foods that best eaten in the Summer.

We olso have "Raviolis",but it is not like dumplings,I think dumplings have a lot of stuffing,but raviolis have less.

Your dumplings look similar to our raviolis, but I like yours much better...lol
