Can Sing National Anthem of you Country?

Can you recite your country's national anthem, i can only recite the first stanza, and it's made up of two stanza. The national pledge is something i can recite, and not even worried. Does that make me unpatrotic, can you recite yours. There was a survey conducted that shows that alot of nigerian's can't recite the national anthem and pledge.

Why not?We are taught in the schooldays and every school function or government functions end with national anthem.So it is hard to forget.To say,I don't want to forget because it is our National anthem.Even my little son in his K.G.class will recite it easily.Cheers!

Eh mmm, thats cool but am more worried about not knowing the latest trend in my programming career than not being able to recite my country's anthem. Am not even sure that all those politicians can. Maybe we should conduct a test lol.

Here in our country,if you check it out with the local politicians,I bet more than half of them will fail to recite it.They will manage it when singing in a crowd,but if you ask them to sing it alone then they will be in real trouble.LOL!Shame on the politicians who had not completed school life.

Yep i can, as we did used to sing it everyday in school. How can anyone forget , ones recited so so many times. Though our anthem words are a bit tough, and as a kid we didn't understood the meaning of it fully also. And i feel pride for it.
Now i stay in other country, and even i know a few lines of anthem here too..

Yes, I can. I was taught our national anthem in school and I have taught it to my children as I feel that it is part of who we are. I do believe that all people should know their anthem. I would not say that it is unpatriotic if you don't know it,but I would suggest that you learn it.

Lemme try to recite here. ARISE O Compatriots, Nigeria calls to obey. To serve our fatherland's land with love,strength and faith. Thats all i know lmao

I can recite my national anthem. Our anthem is "Negaraku" or my country. But, is is not a patriotism indicator though. Some people can't recite it easily but always made his/her country proud by doing excellent thing. For me, as long as you do what is suppose to be done to your country, you are patriotic.
