Is MILK non veg drink ?

Hi All,
I think for convenience some people call even egg as vegetarian. Similarly, for convenience, milk is also called as vegetarian. But in reality both egg as well as milk are pure non-vegetarian. Both the items are derived from birds and animals.
Is MILK a vegetarian or Non-vegetarian ?
