i come from the mountain district, lots of hills, no river, but some ponds. when as a child, my parents didnt allow me to the pond, because they were afraid of my drowning. so until now, i dont know how to swim. in fact, i do like it. so when i go to the sea, i must take the life-jacket every minute,lol... i'm sure most of u must can swim and love it,right?

I live close to a city, St. Louis, but I've haven't always lived there. I was born in a big city in China. Then we moved to Minneapolis, MN, then here. I learned to swim when I was 6, and I love it. I may not be a swimming athlete, but I still love the sport. It's ok if you don't know how to swim. You should learn sometime, you'll love it.

I don't know how to swim, even though my parent's place bordered a river. Never was interested in learning to swim, am in my late 40s and still not interested. Don't care for it.

I don't particularly care for swimming. I would much rather just be tending to my plants. I have some plants growing but I have stopped planting new ones.

i like swimming.no, i love swimming. the bad thing is that i get ear infections almost any time i swim. so that kind of cuts my swimming time. theres nothing that feels better than being weightless in water.

hi, redchase now that u love swimming so much, u cant let such a condition prevent u. i guess maybe u can buy some tool in the market to stop the water going into ur ear.

I guess we are pretty much of the same background. I come from the mountain district too. But that makes me interested in the lake, sea, or water in general. I love swimmng because in my district there are several swimming pools available. Swimming in the sea is also interesting because of the unique situation that it has.

I only learn how to swim during college but I only know 1 stroke which is freestyle I don't know if I still can swim because it is been 5 years since I learned how to swim. My father is a good swimmer because he is retired Navy but he never teach us how to swim me and my 2 sibling only learned how to swim when we are in college because our P.E has a swimming. I'm still afraid to swim in the deeper part because I'm not that good swimmer I might be drowned if I go there.

I learned to swim when I was ten years old. I was on vacation with my family in Devon. I had swimming lessons but didn't learn through those. The water in the outdoor swimming pool at my primary school was really cold. I love to go to the sea although swimming at my local beaches isn't possible. There is much sinking mud and the tide can be dangerous which is unusual. I adore going swimming to warm pools and tropical seas. I can really keen on traveling. I love to go snorkeling to see colorful coral and friendly fish. I am not the strongest swimmer I know but I get on fine in the water.

Hi there Yolanda! I am not really a good swimmer but I love swimming. I didn't grow up near any body of water but now, we are managing my Uncle's beach resort which also has a swimming pool so we can go and swim there anytime we want to.
