Thus started the war. Personal antivirus installed itself onto my computer. Of course my husband was online at the time. AVG caught it and promptly got rid of it. Go AVG!! One problem two days later I get on and what do you know. A giant gold shield pops up saying I've got trojans and worms and viruses IT'S BACK:( and this time my good old AVG can't even find it. Thank the Good Lord I found a way to get rid of it before it caused to much trouble. Funny thing though, I was so mad about it that I called my sister ranting and raving about it and was very upset. Good thing I did though because the very next day she got it and was able to get rid of it and didn't try to scan with it. Has anyone dealt with this if you haven't watch out for the gold shield.

great to hear that you got rid of it, if you get virus's I use AVg and wouldnt use anything else as its caught a lot of stuff that some of the other ones have let through. If you get a virus restart your pc in safe mode and do a manual search aswell as some virus's will re-install them-selves the minute you connect to the internet the joys of broadband

That one and another has been hitting hard lately. I have had to deal with it on a computer not mine but still it wasn't easy to get rid of. Some don't realize until to late not to do the scan. How were you able to get rid of it on your computer? With the one that ran the scan we ended up doing a complete restore because nothing would respond at all to be able to do anything. That one was hit hard.

check out my ride - daughter playing with her toy truck
I did free scans with every antivirus thing I could find the only one that even found it was spyware doctor so I shelled out 50 bucks to order it and it worked thank goodness.

Yeah it felt like I had accomplished a lot. It cost a little but 50 bucks was worth it for peace of mind.
