I have just come back from seeing the Half-Blood Prince. It's a good movie with some really good effects and pretty good acting. I don't know whether it's because I have (of course) read the book or because the actors now seem more mature than they should be (according to the book) but I enjoyed the film more because it's, on the whole, a well made film rather than because it was exciting and new.
I still look forward very much to the last two films but I wonder if they, too, will suffer from the déja vu of having read the books. Perhaps it is that the Half-Blood Prince doesn't have quite the gripping story line or satisfactory ending that the other books/films do.

yeah maybe, i just know though by watching the first movie twilight and reading the second book which is the new moon. It is going to be great if the movie comes out soon

I missed the fact that you had posted this in the Twilight interest. While at the cinema, I saw the trailer for the new Twilight movie. My grand daughter is into Twilight but I have to say that the trailer left me cold - not my thing, really.

I thought New Moon was coming out at the end of this year?
At any rate, can't comment on Harry Potter since I never did like his characted. Somehow feel his friends do more than him! :)
But the effects are always good.

I don't know. The director for New Moon is different from the Twilight director, so it could be better or it could be worse. I'm anxious to see. :D
But I'm pretty sure New Moon will make $100 or so in its opening weekend-it's highlyyyy aniticipated.

I always believe that stories of Twilight series is better than any other Harry Potter Movies, so I am looking forward to watch New Moon this coming November 2009. Based on novels, New Moon has lots of promising scenes than Twilight which is understandable because Twilight is the introduction of the series therefore not really full of actions and other conflicts. New Moon is where werewolves and other packs of vampires revealed.

I'm really not a harry potter fan - so I didn't see any of the movies. Twilight was an ok movie - the acting was very weird, lol. I'm anxious to see New Moon though. I believe it comes out in November - at least that's what I think I last heard. I read the books so I have to see the movies!

Well...I like both sagas.... I believe that new moon can be better... but this dependes if they will be faithfull to the book (that is something that almost never happen with this kind of story....)
